Working with fellow Charmers, vendors, and occasional third parties, you'll be directly contributing to new R&D assemblies and iterative design improvement on existing production equipment.
Give written and verbal feedback on the design of the equipment.
Offer ways to design or fabricate something more easily based on your experience.
We want someone who is excited to work alongside our design engineers to create the best possible outcomes.
Fabricate key pieces of pyrolysis equipment from a range of design details.
Some of our parts have full design drawings, and some are new concepts that we'll sketch together on a white board.
Learn and navigate our CAD program (Onshape) to interface with design engineers and leverage the tool to create and document novel designs.
Collaborate with the procurement team with inventory management and sub-assembly workflows in the Fabrication shop to ensure all fabrication kits are properly located and traceable.
Participate in quality inspection and quality reviews alongside design engineers to make sure completed assemblies meet design intent

You're a great candidate for this role if you have experience with engineering drawing interpretation, metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, and are an excellent communicator/creative problem solver.
