Responsibilities
- Develop and audit Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for test units and laboratory test facilities
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on test units, test systems, and facility equipment
- Create, modify, and maintain electrical schematics for laboratory equipment and test facilities
- Assist in the design and development of in-house electrical test systems, controls architecture, and experimental test setups
- Expand laboratory testing capabilities and provide support for UL compliance testing across multiple product lines
- Support and execute Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and configuration activities
- Perform electrical repairs and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment and test systems
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and laboratory staff to support development, validation, and compliance testing activities

Requirements
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Controls, or a related field
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, industrial controls, and instrumentation
- Experience reading and modifying electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems, power analyzers, and electrical test equipment
- Working knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, and industrial control systems
- Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety practices
- Ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional engineering teams
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand
- Ability to work at heights.
Nice to have
- Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, testing, or R&D environment
- UL testing or product certification experience
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment and controls
- Hands-on experience with control panel assembly and modification
- Programming experience with common PLC platforms
