About the role
- Washington State University Tri Cities GEAR UP program is now accepting applications for a Site Manager at Walla Walla High School.
- As the Site Manager you will be responsible for the strategic planning, administration, and management of the WSU Tri-Cities GEAR UP project at this designated large school.
- Duties include (but are not limited to):
Responsibilities
- Developing work plans and managing budgets
- Providing local leadership in program design, initiatives, supervision and evaluation of staff
- Developing recommendations to improve program effectiveness
- Provide support to key program components, including tutor training and career exploration, as well as post secondary preparation.

Requirements
- One (1) or more years of experience leading or directing the work of others.
- A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience.
- Experience in promoting the success and achievement of students from diverse cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds.
- Proficiency in the use of computers, Google Workspace, and MS Office software programs such as Excel, Outlook and Word.

- familiarity with such resources in the greater Central Washington region.

- About GEAR UP Programs:
Compensation
- You will provide services to a cohort of at least 800 students, manage an operating budget of a least $400,000 annually and manage at least 5 full-time staff and additional temporary/hourly staff.
