About the role
- Signalink is seeking an Aviation Analyst to join our growing team supporting U.S. Army aviation modernization, prototype integration, system validation, and fielding activities.
- This position is ideal for an experienced aviation maintainer, avionics technician, crew chief, or aircraft systems specialist who enjoys solving complex technical problems and working directly with engineers and Army customers.
- Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical, electrical, avionics, and integration issues on Army rotary-wing platforms, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support during prototype installations, aircraft modification efforts, demonstrations, customer evaluations, and validation/verification (VAL/VER) events.
- Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, installation instructions, technical manuals, and aircraft schematics to support modification activities.
- Document technical findings, installation observations, discrepancies, and recommended design improvements for engineering review.
- Assist engineering teams during design reviews by providing maintainability, installation, and operational feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, troubleshooting efforts, and technical recommendations.
Requirements
- Support logistics, maintenance, and sustainment activities as required to meet overall program objectives.
- 10+ years of experience maintaining, modifying, troubleshooting, or supporting military or commercial aircraft.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
