About the role
- Guidepoint's Business Development teams are passionate about expanding our reach with both new and existing clients.
- Guidepoint is seeking qualified candidates for a Vice President, Client Growth on the Institutional Sales team.
- This person will report directly to the Head of US Client Growth as they promote our subscription-based research service to various business units within existing clients (hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity, etc.), to grow overall usage.
Responsibilities
- Partner with management to increase user base at client firms. Monitor client usage to proactively promote Guidepoint subscriptions
- Conduct outbound prospecting to generate leads within existing clients. Follow up on warm leads
- Meet designated growth targets using a strategic and thoughtful process designed to partner with clients and add value to their process
- Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management.

Requirements
- 5-7 years of sales, business development, banking, business consulting, and/or account management experience.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year university.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time.
- Ability to use AI-enabled tools thoughtfully and responsibly, with attention to accuracy, confidentiality, data quality, and human judgment
Compensation
- $90,000 - $120,000 USD
- Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location.
- The annual base salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000.
