About the role
- Job Description Collects patient samples using best practices for phlebotomy.
- Tier 2 will work at up to four entities. - Serves in a float capacity across a variety of campuses to provide staffing coverage. - Work Schedule varies.

- Must be available between the hours of 6a-5p Monday thru Friday.
- No weekends or holidays
- Collects patient specimens in accordance with laboratory's policy, procedures and regulatory standards.
- Correlates patient samples to provider laboratory test orders in the LIS/EMR.
- Performs and reports Point of Care laboratory testing as required.
- Communicates effectively with nursing and unit staff to relay information concerning patient collections.
- Completion of a phlebotomy program, have completed sticks on a human, has knowledge of lab safety protocol is preferred
