About the role

  • The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in magnetics theory and measurement with practical experience in magnetic material research and/or sintered magnet manufacturing and process development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of heavy-rare-earth minimization or free approaches.
  • Support experimental projects that optimize process-structure-property relationships across powder preparation, alignment, compaction, sintering, grain growth, and annealing.
  • Scale‑Up & Manufacturing Support
  • Support manufacturing operations related to magnetic variability, yield loss, or performance degradation.
  • Support intellectual property development and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years (or equivalent advanced degree experience) in permanent magnet development or magnetics engineering or magnetic materials research.
  • Hands‑on experience with sintering and heat treatment process.

  • Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a Magnetics Engineer to support the development, optimization, and industrialization of high‑performance rare earth permanent magnets, with a primary focus on NdFeB magnet systems.
  • This is an entry level, hands‑on technical role responsible for supporting magnetic design, performance optimization, process‑property relationships, and manufacturing scale‑up.
