About the role
- ICF's Disaster Management Division is seeking a Senior Manager, Disaster Management for Disaster Recovery programs and projects.
- This position is 100% Remote in Colorado, with expected travel and deployments.
- The Senior Manager, Disaster Management position will work together with project managers and program stakeholders to ensure the smooth performance of low, medium, and high-volume projects.
Responsibilities
- Validate progress and quality of Construction Managers performance, track and confirm noted items are addressed and regularly communicate results.
- Serving as capture lead for assigned business development opportunities.
- Serving as technical and proposal lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of combined program and project management experience.
- 5+ years of in-depth experience with the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program.
- 2+ years of experience project managing a successful high-volume housing recovery program.
- 1+ years of experience working directly with FEMA's Individual Assistance Program.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
- Experience overseeing or inspecting construction contractors and subcontractors, negotiating change orders, and achieving high quality completed constructions via tools and other mechanisms.
- Highly experienced, intermediate to advanced, in MS Office programs and computer programs, with an ability to quickly accept and learn new technology.

Skills
- Experience monitoring federally funded programs.
- 15+ years in disaster recovery, including federal, state and local government.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities and to work overtime as necessary.
- Driven to achieve results, ask questions and continually seek efficiencies in the day-to-day process.
- Visionary, enthusiastic energized approach to collaboration and growth.
- Superior communication and customer service skills and exhibit a high level of professionalism in all communications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight and changing deadlines and requirements
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).

Compensation
- While the range below is broader for career growth, this position will offer a base salary of $110,000 to $150,000.
- $118,807.00 - $201,971.00
