- Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for a Intermediate Protection & Control Technologist to join our Alberta team.
- The primary role of a Protection & Control Technologist is to perform programming, testing and verification of protection & control devices in the field.
- The role is responsible for testing, commission or maintain power distribution equipment.
- Perform field testing, verification, and programming of various IEDs from manufacturers such as SEL, GE Multilin, GEC Alstom, Siemens, Square D and ABB.
- Maintain or Commission Power distribution equipment including Power Transformers, Circuit Breakers, HV Switches and Instrument Transformers.
Compensation
- $70k-$80k

- Here's what we're looking for: Experience - 2 to 5 years of experience in P&C Education - 2-year Electrical Engineering Technology diploma (I.e. from NAIT or SAIT) or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree.
