About the role
- Overview We're hiring a Wire EDM Programmer / Machinist for our precision medical machine shop.
- You'll program, set up, and run wire EDM machines on high-mix, low-volume jobs, machining complex medical parts to tight tolerances.
- You'll also set up and run CNC mills and lathes, often operating multiple machines at once.
Responsibilities
- You'll own each job from print to first-piece inspection - programming the cut, designing and building the fixturing, indicating parts in, and running the machine.
- Maintenance: Maintain coolants, dielectric water, wire, guides, and filters daily.
Compensation
- $70k-$75k
