About the role

  • Blackstone Credit & Insurance ("BXCI") is one of the world's leading credit investors.

Responsibilities

  • Make adjustments to EBITDA and create lender models, relying on a fundamental understanding of accounting.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Perform financial decision making which is applicable to all forms of investment: stocks, bonds, real estate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Financial Engineering, Management Science, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare investment committee materials and deal updates summarizing diligence findings, key risks, and proposed structuring / terms.
  • Experience can be concurrent.

  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Financial Engineering, Management Science, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations, employer will accept a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Financial Engineering, Management Science, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel to build and audit detailed software credit models, including integrated financial statements, ARR roll builds, cash flow forecasting, debt schedules, and sensitivity / downside analyses.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting end-to-end diligence for software investments including leading calls with industry experts, developing management and sponsor Q&A and diligence agendas, analyzing data rooms and third-party market and financial diligence materials.

  • Expected annual base salary range:
  • $183,000 - $215,000
  • Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
