Responsibilities

  • Turbomachinery Component Design Engineer - LW Research and Technology
  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Component Design Engineer to join the LibertyWorks team in Indianapolis.
  • The Component Design Engineer shall create engineering solutions that satisfy functional and physical requirements from the Product System and Sub-System level environments.
  • The Component Design Engineer is responsible for the on-time delivery and quality of component design definition artefacts i.e. documents, models, definitions that meet system and sub-system requirements.
  • The Component Design Engineer is responsible for integration of the technical activities for their design solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1+ years of related experience
  • Masters degree in Engineering
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen
  • An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems and make balanced decisions across technical and business parameters
  • Knowledge and experience of product integrity / liability and certification frameworks
  • Knowledge of gas turbine subsystems and components and their function and operation
  • Your needs are as unique as you are.

  • Manage product configuration and assure data integrity.

Compensation

  • $73,120 - $118,820-Annually
