About the role

  • Work with the Outpatient Division Director to coordinate monthly Clinical Operations meetings by preparing materials.
  • Attend meetings, record minutes, and order food as requested.
  • Provide communication to all committee members, and serve as liaison between the Outpatient Division Director and the committee.

Responsibilities

  • Position Summary The Office Support Specialist works under the direction of the Department Chair and Business Administrative Associate and provides administrative support to faculty members of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
  • The person in this position will work with multiple computer systems and perform a wide variety of office support tasks.
  • Duties Responsibilities Manage incoming calls to the main department phone, greet visitors, answer questions, and respond to requests.
  • Assist in scheduling CFW appointments and manage documents and confidential information.
  • Maintain confidential records or files for the department and clinic, including departmental directories and patient lists.
