About the role
- The position is located in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, International Programs Directorate, Office of Regional Directors (DS/IP/RD).
- RD serves as the primary point of contact within the Department and for other U.S. government agencies on security programs and law enforcement activities at designated U.S. missions overseas.
- RD establishes priorities for all IP security programs, facilitates the planning and review of security services, and coordinates resource requests for overseas posts.
Requirements
- Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.
- Experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating security surveys and other relevant data to provide guidance and recommendations to decision-makers
- Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
