This role also upholds the consistent and fair application of all OBR policies and procedures, as well as the proper training and productivity of crews performing electrical work on cooling tower systems.
The Electrical Foreman works closely with the Superintendent to ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with OBR quality standards.
At times, the Electrical Foreman may also be responsible for independently managing an inspection or a small electrical project without direct supervision.
ROLES/TASKS OF THE POSITION Consistently work safely and follow all established safety procedures.
Remain vigilant for unsafe conditions affecting yourself, co‑workers, or others on the job site, and stop work immediately if a hazard is present.
Oversee field subcontractors and their work activities.
Select appropriate wire, conduit, panels, and other electrical materials and components required for the project.
Supervise the marking, bending, and cutting of conduit and cable tray to meet specified dimensions and routing requirements.
