About the role
- Pasta Ramen is seeking Station Cooks to join our amazing team!
- Welcome to Pasta Ramen, a collaboration with founders of Ani Brands Luck Sarabhayavanija and James Beard nominated Chef Robbie Felice.
- This new concept is a fusion of Italian and Japanese cuisine called Wafu Italian.
Responsibilities
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work late nights and unpredictable hours.
- Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Basic understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
- Basic understanding of or the ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in teams
- Education and Experience:
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen.
- Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment.
Nice to have
- High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics such as food safety, preferred.
- Prior related experience preferred.
