About the role
- Innovation Labs is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Chemist to join our Quality Control team.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career scientist looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment.
- Sample Preparation & Analysis - Prepare samples, standards, and reagents according to approved procedures and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Data Review & Documentation - Accurately document test results, maintain laboratory notebooks, and complete records in compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Stability Testing Support - Assist with stability studies and sample management programs.
- Investigation Support - Participate in laboratory investigations, troubleshooting activities, and corrective action initiatives under the guidance of senior staff.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with Quality Assurance, R&D, Production, and Regulatory teams to support product quality and manufacturing operations.
- Instrument Operation & Maintenance - Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation such as HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR, or related analytical equipment.
- Ability to accurately record, review, and interpret analytical data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
Nice to have
- Internship, co-op, or laboratory experience in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, personal care, food, or dietary supplement industries.
- Exposure to cGMP, GLP, or regulated laboratory environments.
- Familiarity with chromatographic techniques, including HPLC.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and laboratory data management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new analytical techniques.
