Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners
- Effectively manages local channel partners (Manufacturer's Representatives and Distributors) and maximizes the performance of these channels
- Delivers effective reporting / Rotork Customer Engagement (CRM) to ensure that data relating to their sales activities is recorded and shared with others when needed.
- Works in co-operation with the Manager and other Area Sales Managers to develop a sales plan that is aligned with the goals of the Company
Requirements
- Proven ability to coordinate sales of products and services across capital projects, resellers, and end users
- Knowledge of valves and actuators, with experience in engineered industrial automation or process equipment sales
- Familiarity with the municipal market is a strong advantage
- Proven experience selling engineered industrial products through both direct and indirect channels, with a focus on relationship-based sales
- Strong proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office to support efficient sales processes and reporting
- Knowledge of the water and wastewater market, with a track record of driving customer loyalty, revenue growth, and profitability
- Must be located in: Southern California (LA, San Diego, etc.) as this role will cover CA and HI
Nice to have
- Engineering or similar technical degree, with a preferred background in electrical systems
