Responsibilities
- Provide advisory support and guidance on FOIA workflow, exemptions/redactions, consultations/referrals, and complex request handling, coordinating with legal/security offices as appropriate
- Familiarity of SWS Standard Operating Procedures, Ordnance Documents and Fleet Documentation
- Experience supporting FOIA program operations, compliance, records management, legal/regulatory support or similar work
- Strong knowledge of FOIA concepts (request lifecycle, exemptions/redactions, consultations/referrals, appeals support) and ability to apply policy consistently
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready case/program records
Requirements
- Familiarity with CUI/PII handling, records retention, and coordination with security/classification authorities
- Ensure maintenance required for FOIA website links (Service FOIA pages, command/activity FOIA pages, FOIA Online, and DoN FOIA policy site) and that public FOIA information remains current.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 10+ years of experience supporting Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) programs
- Experience with SSP (Strategic Systems Programs)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Adobe

- We are seeking an experienced FOIA Program Analyst with SSP experience to assist the Plans and Program Division and its branches in managing FOIA governance functions including FOIA Online participation, consolidated reporting, coordinator
Visa & Work Authorization
- Active DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level or have held an active clearance in the past 2 years
