About the role
- Assume project engineering responsibilities and adhere to financial and work goals.
- Guide less experienced team members in execution of drawings.
- Recommend improvements with reference standards and processes to improve quality, coordination, and to streamline production efforts.

- This role provides technical leadership throughout all phases of project delivery, including planning, design, construction administration, and client engagement.
- In addition, this position will support cyber-informed design initiatives and operational technology considerations for critical facility environments.
- Perform electrical engineering systems design for building construction. Initiate project designs and help to develop design goals and systems.
- Support the implementation and verification of cyber-informed design principles and operational technology security requirements for critical infrastructure projects.
- Lead workshops and technical discussions related to facility resiliency, operational continuity, and cyber-informed design strategies.

Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience required.
- Strong knowledge of Life Safety Codes
- Ability to work independently in all electrical disciplines with no oversight or guidance.
- Must be a critical thinker.
Nice to have
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering required.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program preferred.
- Current PE in the United States preferred.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
Skills
- This position may be filled anywhere in the United States.
- Preference may be given to candidates that can work in one of the CannonDesign locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $ 95,950 to $ 119,985 annually.

- We are seeking a Project Electrical IV to support the design and delivery of complex projects including mission-critical, healthcare, education, commercial, and science and technology facilities.
- Design lighting, power distribution, signaling, communications and/or telecommunication systems for healthcare, education/higher education and commercial clients per applicable codes.
