Responsibilities

  • Assist investigations into quality-related incidents, conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions, establishing preventative measures to minimize future incidents.
  • Manage the verification and documentation for all Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment, ensuring conformance with the approved submittal while adhering to the Equipment Protection Plan.
  • Manage all project i ssue l ogs and punch lists collaborating with all affected and / or responsible parties to mitigate and drive to closure any open issues.
  • Manage / track certain OFCI equipment while communicating status with the construction team.
  • Develop / conduct training pertaining to topics in relation to electrical systems, components, and/or departmental specific.

  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA.
  • Experience collaborating with field and management to understand and implement t e chnological and Quality programs.

Requirements

  • P articipate in required daily, weekly, and monthly meetings (i.e., daily Cx, scheduling, coordination, pre- energization, and staffing meetings).
  • Must be able to read and interpret specifications, submittals, single-line diagrams and other contract documents.
  • Ability to maintain the required levels of confidentiality when entrusted with sensitive business, customer, or employee related information.

Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, while closely track ing QC details of multiple project activities.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Construction Management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, hands-on, working environment.
  • Must have experience in a decision-making position, be self-motivated, and have an analytical mindset.
  • Acute attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective and professional communicator, both written and verbal.
  • High level of professional business acumen.
