About the role

  • As a Correctional Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence.
  • Administering medications and providing instructions to patients Monitoring and documenting patient health including vital signs, medical histories.
  • Responding to medical emergencies, providing first aid, and ensuring timely transport to appropriate healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting physical examinations, developing treatment plans and monitoring patients Managing acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, and diabetes.
  • Providing direct patient care, triaging, assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and coordinating services.
