About the role

  • This position works on the analysis of existing and proposed vendor supplied software functionality to determine if the software conforms to current health system workflow processes.
  • The Application Analyst is responsible to understand and conform to HonorHealth's project and change management methodologies and may be responsible for leading low to moderate complexity projects leveraging this framework.
  • Ability to troubleshoot low to moderate complexity end-user issues, workflow problems, and enhancement requests for departmental users, associated medical staff, key stakeholders, management and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of Leadership, the IT Applications Analyst is responsible to empower our community through the continuous development, deployment, and support of vendor proprietary enterprise application software.
  • In addition, this position requires an on-call rotation facilitating off hour work functions in support of incidents, upgrades, patches, and project task fulfillment.
  • Analyze business operations as they relate to design decisions and prioritize and implement requested changes to the system.
  • On an as needed basis, performs in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of integrated applications with minimal assistance.
  • Design, Test, Implement and support files/systems within assigned products and scope with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for maintaining set standards of application system build and database maintenance.

Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to travel to any/all HonorHealth and affiliated sites.
  • Communicates effectively (written and oral) across all levels of the organization and has the ability to determine the appropriate forum for each method.

Nice to have

  • Certification for assigned application should be obtained within designated timeframe per policy.
  • Epic Certification
  • Certificate, Training and/or certification in assigned application.
  • Epic certification as applicable for assigned team.

Skills

  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Populates tables and databases, for a domain with multiple owners, with some assistance from Vendor and Information Technology staff.
  • Including updates to master files, profiles, dictionaries, and other databases.
