Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Director of Operations, 3DS, this individual will drive operational excellence across laboratory, business, and team functions while partnering closely with scientific and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can independently manage operational processes while serving as a trusted operational resource and key point of coordination for teams across the organization.
  • Coordinate laboratory operations in collaboration with Facilities, EHS, Lab Managers, and scientific teams, including equipment maintenance, vendor coordination, laboratory compliance activities, and space management support.
  • Manage contract and agreement workflows by partnering with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and external vendors to initiate, track, maintain, and renew contracts, statements of work, purchase orders, and related documents.
  • Support budget and resource management activities, including expense tracking, invoice processing, spending oversight, and coordination with Finance partners.

Nice to have

  • PhD in the life sciences with 3-5 years of laboratory-based industry experience in nonclinical operations, scientific operations, laboratory management, or related functions
  • OR a Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and execution excellence.
  • Experience with project management, vendor management, budgeting, and/or scientific operations tools is preferred.
