About the role
- As onboarding demand increases, recurring client responsibilities will gradually decrease, allowing the role to become increasingly focused on onboarding, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- You will work closely with clients to transform incomplete, disorganized, or inefficient accounting processes into scalable cloud-based systems and workflows.
- As AMLB continues to grow, this role is expected to evolve into a specialized onboarding position focused on implementation, process improvement, and client transition excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead client onboarding engagements from kickoff through transition to ongoing service.
- Develop onboarding plans, timelines, and client action items.
- Configure and optimize cloud accounting systems and related applications.
- Analyze onboarding workload and provide recommendations to support onboarding capacity planning.
- Support a limited portfolio of recurring cloud accounting clients.
- Prepare financial reporting packages and support sales tax compliance activities.
Requirements
- CPA designation is considered an asset but is not required.
- Experience with accounting clean-up, conversions, implementations, or client onboarding is considered an asset.
Skills
- Utilize AI and technology tools to improve efficiency, consistency, and client outcomes.
- 5+ years of Canadian cloud accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting experience.
Compensation
- Competitive compensation of $85,000-$95,000 plus up to a 12% annual performance bonus.
