About the role
- Serve as a recognized specialist in caring for and managing research animals.
- Note: This position is located in our Hamilton facility with the requirement of being on-site 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to a team of animal technicians, ensuring the effective completion of animal welfare tasks, including feeding, cleaning animal housing, changing bedding, and caring for sick animals and provide regulatory compliance support.
Requirements
- University degree in a scientific field or significant relevant experience
- Proven ability to independently perform laboratory experiments to the required standard on a consistent basis
- Have strong knowledge of the disease area strategy and related research.
Compensation
- Annual base salary for this position ranges from 103,404.80 to 135,718.80.
