About the role
- Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking a talented Insurance Recovery Associate with at least 4 years of relevant experience to join its nationally recognized Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice.

Responsibilities
- Support all phases of litigation, including factual development, discovery, motion practice, and hearing or trial preparation
Requirements
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- High degree of professionalism, initiative, sound judgment, and attention to detail
- Admission to the applicable state bar and in good standing, or ability to obtain admission promptly
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in insurance recovery, insurance coverage litigation, or policyholder-side coverage counseling
- Demonstrated experience representing policyholders and experience counseling clients on insurance recovery
- Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
Nice to have
- Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus, but not required
