About the role

  • Evaluating training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; revising materials as necessary to improve outcomes.
  • Supporting quality assurance by maintaining accurate documentation, adhering to established standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • This role contributes directly to the objective of streamlining processes and improving total lifecycle support through well‑structured instruction, curriculum development, and continuous improvement.
  • The specialist ensures personnel are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to sustain high‑quality operations across maintenance, logistics, technology integration, and other evolving support areas.
  • The Training Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, and conducting technical and professional training programs that support integrated product support services (IPSS) objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining curriculum and instructional materials that align with organizational goals and lifecycle support requirements.
  • Assisting with the integration of new technologies, tools, and processes into training programs to support modernization and efficiency goals.
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or technical training.
  • Experience developing technical training materials for maintenance, logistics, or technology‑based environments.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple training projects simultaneously while maintaining alignment with program objectives and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, supervisors, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Delivering training sessions that enhance workforce proficiency, safety, and compliance with regulatory and technical standards.
  • Proficiency with computer‑aided instructional technologies and multimedia tools.
  • A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.

Skills

  • Conducting needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training priorities across departments and programs.
