About the role
- Spend a summer writing low-level firmware that brings Blackstar's hardware to life alongside the founding engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute firmware, drivers, and board support code to Blackstar's hardware platforms.
- Own a well-scoped project from design through implementation and review.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with C/C++ and microcontroller or embedded programming.
Nice to have
- Experience with RTOS environments, bare-metal programming, or embedded Linux.
- Personal projects, research, or coursework involving embedded systems.
