About the role

  • The Site Controller, as a member of the plant management team, provides guidance in setting strategic direction and designing business plans to achieve the long-term mission of the plant.
  • The Site Controller is responsible for financial leadership in a plant.
  • The position's functional responsibility influences Manufacturing, QA, Engineering and Supply Chain through budget decisions, financial training, financial recommendations, and general business guidance

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, consolidate and generally manage the development of plans for the plant including standards, LBE's and capital budgets
  • Facilitate unit cost savings and overall cost reduction forums for the site to drive gross margin improvement and monitor progress against commitments
  • Drive automation, standardization, and simplification of finance processes in alignment with corporate initiatives
  • Partner with shared services, IT, and global finance teams to improve data integrity and reporting efficiency
  • Support system implementations or upgrades in regulated manufacturing environments
  • Lead, develop, and mentor site finance team members
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships across operations, quality, supply chain, and engineering
  • Working in conjunction with Plant and Operations management, develop and implement financial and operational measurement tools focusing on productivity and customer service improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with operations and influence senior leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including manufacturing finance
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and plant‑level financial analysis
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) and advanced financial analysis tools
