About the role
- Responsible for assisting with leading the mechanical installation of parcel conveying systems.
- Plan and coordinate the efforts of the crew under his/her supervision and motivate them to accomplish the work safely, correctly, and efficiently.
- Reads and understand plans and specifications
Requirements
- 3 years of supervisory experience preferably within the conveyor systems industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent knowledge of:
- Employees may be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by their supervisor.
- Power transmission equipment
- Read, understand, and apply customer specifications
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Complete detail-oriented work producing above average results
- Organize and prioritize a variety of tasks in an effective and timely manner, organize own work, participate in setting priorities, and meet critical time deadlines
- Ability to travel 9 months to 3 years at a time to various locations
