About the role

  • This role plays a critical part in Agilent's commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions that extend instrument life cycles while providing exceptional value to our customers.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant refurbishment, testing, and release of instruments.
  • Ensure all refurbished instruments meet Agilent's Certified Pre-Owned quality standards and performance specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Certified Pre-Owned refurbishment team.
  • Manage production schedules, workforce planning, and capacity to meet customer demand and delivery commitments.
  • Drive operational performance through key metrics related to quality, productivity, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of technical experts responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, configuring, upgrading, and testing multiple instrument platforms across the Agilent portfolio.
  • Support resolution of complex technical issues and escalations.
  • Partner with business units and engineering teams to incorporate product updates, configuration changes, and best practices into refurbishment processes.
  • Lead projects to introduce new products and instrument configurations into the Certified Pre-Owned portfolio.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance quality, throughput, and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in manufacturing, production, service, refurbishment, or technical operations.
  • Experience with Agilent instruments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulated quality systems and product certification processes.
  • Experience with reverse logistics, material handling, and SAP ERP.

  • The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $111,840.00 - $174,750.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
