About the role
- The Arizona Department of Gaming is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Gaming Machine Compliance Technician.
- This position inspects and tests electronic gaming devices, electronic slot monitoring systems, verifies authenticity of electronic gaming software and control programs, and inspects and test any peripheral gaming related software and hardware.
- The Gaming Machine Compliance Technician will also inspect and tests kiosks, keno systems, progressive systems, and dealer controlled electronic table games.
Requirements
- Must be capable of working independently on difficult assignments, gathering facts, organizing, analyzing and comprehending information to make logical interpretations necessary to perform operational duties.
Skills
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving to assess and resolve gaming device issues.
- Analyzing and interpreting compliance reports to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Maintaining effective working relationships with casino personnel, Tribal Gaming Offices, and manufacturers.
- Working independently with a minimum amount of supervision and make effective judgments on the basis of partial or incomplete evidence.
- Effective written and verbal communication, including reviewing lab certification reports.

Compensation
- $62,000 - 64,000
