About the role
- The ideal candidate brings reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility will be expected as this role will occasionally require late nights during the week and/or over the weekend.
- Ultra PCS, located in Manhattan, KS, is a leader in commercial and military aircraft aerospace systems & components.
Responsibilities
- Identify root causes of test failures, perform diagnostics, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues.
- Follow ESD control procedures to maintain a compliant work environment
Requirements
- This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
- Ability to read and follow production procedures.
- Background check and pre-employment drug testing required.
Nice to have
- 1+ year experience working in electronic circuit board assembly.
- 1+ year experience hand soldering electronics.
- Ability to work with other assembly personnel in a cooperative, team manner.
- Ability to professionally handle critical feedback from quality inspectors and management.
- Dedication to quality and precision of work.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to visually inspect product or parts through a microscope.
- Must pass eye exam (can wear glasses or contacts).
