About the role
- Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures
- Files all receiving paperwork in PO sequence
- Verifies (recounts) orders to ensure accuracy of incoming merchandise
Requirements
- Must be able to work standing for up to 8-12 hours/shift.
- Must be able to kneel, squat, bend/twist at the waist, and stack parts at or above head height
- Must have full range of motion (ROM) of shoulders, knees, hips, elbows, wrists, and hands to perform all basic functions of the job
- Must be able to wear compliant ear protection if and when, working in areas exposed to noise levels above OSHA threshold limits
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments that can range from 30F-100F in the warehouse depending on the season
- Must be able to complete repetitive movements
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (Safety toe shoes, ANSI Z87 eye protection, CR gloves, Hard Hats)
- Must be able to wear a safety harness that is compliant with OSHA standards when working at heights
- Must be able to work at heights to pull material from our order pickers. (Up to 15')
- Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade preferred
- 2 years' experience in a relevant field
Skills
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Proficient in the use of a computer
- Forklift experience required
- Must have good communication skills
- Embrace teamwork
- Self-starter, motivated, versatile
- Ability to be Proficient in Microsoft Office suite within 12 months
