About the role
- As a Principal Scientist in Small Molecule Biomarkers (Metabolomics & Lipidomics) within our Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) team, you will play a key role in advancing safe and effective therapeutics for patients.
Responsibilities
- Method Development: Design and apply LC-HRMS and LC-MS/MS methods to acquire high-quality mass spectrometry biomarker data supporting drug discovery and development.
- Data & AI Workflows: Perform mass spectrometry data processing and statistical analysis
- build or leverage Generative AI tools and software workflows to scale analysis and reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders to translate complex omics data into actionable drug target research.

Requirements
- You are an innovative analytical scientist with a passion for cellular metabolism, mass spectrometry technology, and emerging computational tools.
- Metabolic & Computational Insight: Solid foundation in cellular metabolism, coupled with hands-on experience or strong aptitude using Generative AI tools for coding and biological insight generation.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of working effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.
Compensation
- The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $143,200 - $265,900.
- A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.

- Education & Industry Experience: PhD in biological, chemical, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field, accompanied by 3-5 years of direct experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
