About the role

  • The Environmental Services Worker cleans patient rooms and general spaces throughout the health system facilities following safe work practices and infection control procedures.
  • Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains flooring care including cleaning, buffing, and applying floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors; vacuums, shampoos and extracts carpets.
  • Uses and maintains power equipment and hand tools such as buffers, auto brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture.

Nice to have

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
