About the role
- Job Description: As a Warehouse operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring Cambria's promise of quality and efficiency.
- This position is responsible for staging and preparing slabs for shipping, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory and maintaining the sales distribution center in a clean and organized manner.
- Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Responsibilities
- Build and verify customer orders, ensuring all slabs are correctly identified and loaded into delivery trucks
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, keeping inventory levels accurate and readily accessible
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve common goals
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle (preferred)
- Systems: Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle (preferred)
Skills
- Prior experience operating overhead cranes, forklift with boom and gator preferred
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality and safety
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of the use of handheld scanners and proficiency in basic computer applications
- Ability to work overtime as needed
