About the role

  • REPORTING STRUCTURE - This position reports to the QC Lab Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Work with other staff members to maintain workload balance and provide backup support as needed.
  • Support effective communication with all Hydrite departments where responsibilities overlap to support branch team success.
  • This role provides timely analytical results and technical support to ensure products meet established specifications and all Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures are followed.
  • Perform instrument maintenance, calibrations, quality control checks, solutions preparations, and standardization.
  • Maintain records accurately, neatly, legibly, and completely.
  • Perform daily laboratory activities to help meet production requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders as required by job duties.
  • Ability to occasionally turn, twist, stoop, bend, and reach.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, hairnet, and beard net, if applicable.
  • Ability to comply with GMP production area requirements, including restrictions on exposed jewelry in body piercings.
  • The QC Technician supports Hydrite's quality and production operations by performing required quality control analysis of incoming, in-process, and outgoing materials.
  • Perform required quality control analysis of incoming, manufactured, and outgoing materials with authority to make acceptance, production adjustments, or rejection decisions.

Nice to have

  • A High School Diploma is required, Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
  • Must possess good laboratory analytical skills.
  • Able to apply advanced math skills and use involved problem solving.
  • Must be self-motivated and initiate continuous improvement.
  • Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
