About the role
- 6+ years of quality engineering experience, ideally in advanced manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional quality initiatives, determining the methods and procedures for new assignments and major program launches.
- Partner with R&D and NPI teams to integrate quality-by-design, ensuring products are manufacturable at scale with minimal defects.
- Serve as a lead subject matter expert in metrology, metallurgical testing, and advanced process validation (Master Validation Plans).
- Drive the quality strategy for advanced manufacturing processes, including the validation of specialized equipment and materials.
- Represent the quality function in high-level MRB discussions and lead escalated product complaint investigations.
- Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals, acting as a mentor and technical lead for the quality engineering team.

Compensation
- VulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package.
- The annual base salary range for this position is $117,477 to $161,531.
