Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize production layouts to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement process control systems to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain master data and analyze capacity constraints for long-term manufacturing planning.
  • Build value stream maps and process flows to support standard work documentation.
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional teams regarding production design, capabilities, communication processes, tooling, and material handling equipment.
  • Support new model launches and product revisions across assembly operations.
  • The 150-year history of the Vilter brand tells a rich story of perseverance and drive to cultivate continuous innovation within the industrial refrigeration and gas compression industries.
  • Approximately 300 employees work in Cudahy, who all support a multitude of business functions.

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineeringwith3-6+years of related experience
  • Able to multitask and execute on multiple projects at the same time while ensuring focus and passion for delivering high quality work.
  • Knowledge and experience working in a team environment
  • Knowledge of problem-solving fundamentals
  • Experience in high mix - low volume production processes
  • Safety project experience
  • Knowledge and application of LEAN Manufacturing techniques
  • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD and Inventor modeling software
