- In this role, you'll help deliver high-performance mechanical systems that improve occupant comfort, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency.
- IMEG's mechanical engineers design HVAC and mechanical systems that enhance building performance while advancing sustainability
- The team's expertise includes central plants, building automation and controls, energy recovery solutions, and advanced HVAC system design
- Mechanical engineers use lifecycle analysis, rapid energy modeling, and sustainable design practices to improve occupant comfort, indoor air quality, and reduced energy consumption
- IMEG's mechanical team has earned multiple international ASHRAE Technology Awards for energy-efficient HVAC designs
Requirements
- Proficiency of industry standard engineering software and tools including HVAC load calculation software
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Nice to have
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts
- Prioritize safety by identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with mechanical systems
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification preferred
- 5 years of experience minimum required, 6 preferred, in the building design consulting industry OR
- Associates degree, or certificate, in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Engineering preferred
- 9 years of experience minimum required, 10 preferred, in the building design consulting or construction industry
- Due to federal contract requirements, this position requires U.S. citizenship
