About the role

For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families.
Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care.
The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area.

Training and experience in hospital ministry and/or counseling Approved faculties to function as a priest from the Archdiocese of New York.
Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.

Minimum Bachelors Degree required, as well as eligibility for certification within one year as a Chaplain by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.
Masters Degree and Certification preferred.
COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged for all new hires prior to beginning employment at Calvary Hospital.
