About the role

  • Job Description: Summary The Sourcing & Supply Analyst is responsible for data mining, analysis, reporting, and automation on organization-wide spend to identify cost savings opportunities and streamline processes.
  • Essential Functions • Have the intellectual curiosity to actively seek out new areas of potential improvement and drill into the details to find the root cause of problems.

  • Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI solutions) to improve productivity and streamline analytical workflows.
  • Take ownership of the data and work to ensure that data is as complete and accurate as possible.
  • This requires working with Operations to understand the business processes behind the data and with IT to understand how the data is processed and stored.
  • Must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights

Skills

  • Proficiency Excel, SQL, and Power BI is required
  • Experience with Snowflake, Alteryx or Power Automate, and AI (CoPilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) is a plus
  • Have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes
  • Ability to arrive at and give recommendations to senior management based on available information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math or related
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience
