About the role

  • The Nuclear Performance Assessor is responsible for evaluating overall station performance by independently assessing the overall organization to identify problem areas where the station is not meeting targets for excellence.
  • The Performance Assessor function requires an experienced senior nuclear manager (or managers, if augmented) with broad expertise and the ability to critically evaluate functional and cross-functional areas.
  • The scope of the function is to identify shortfalls in organizational performance through monitoring and intrusive oversight.

Responsibilities

  • This position reports to the Senior Director, Fleet Performance Assessment who reports directly to the Vice President, Nuclear Support.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a broad, varied background in nuclear power with experience in three or more departments.
  • A Senior Reactor Operator License or Management Certification (SRO) is required.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree, BS in technical discipline is preferred or 6 years of service in nuclear power in various disciplines.
  • A technical degree may be used to supplement years of experience.
