About the role

We are seeking a Tax Operations Senior Associate to join our growing tax team.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in tax documentation, withholding, and information reporting who enjoys solving complex operational problems in a fast-paced environment.
The Tax Operations Senior Associate will play a key role in executing and improving core tax operations processes across thousands of funds and investors on the Belltower platform.

Collaborate with tax, fund accounting, operations, engineering, and offshore teams to support day-to-day execution and continuously improve tax processes
Document procedures, assist with testing system enhancements, and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve tax workflows
This is not a traditional tax role-you'll combine technical tax knowledge with operational execution while helping improve scalable tax processes that support a modern investment platform.
Success in this role comes from being curious, embracing continuous improvement, and using technology to build more scalable and efficient tax operations.

2-5 years of experience in tax operations, information reporting, public accounting, fund administration, financial services, or a related tax role
Experience with U.S. tax documentation, withholding, and information reporting, including familiarity with Forms W-8, W-9, W-8IMY, 1099, 1042-S, or 8805
Experience executing detailed, process-driven work with a high degree of accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve operational issues
CPA, EA, or progress toward obtaining one is preferred
