About the role
- Reports to Center Director and Assistant Director.
- Prepares and/or serves Breakfast, hot lunches and snacks for children enrolled in the Learning Academy.
- Organizes and cleans kitchen according to health and sanitation standards and upholds HACCP systems.
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships and communicate in a respectful manner with families, children, team members, administration, Corporate Leadership and vendors in the community we serve
- Plans weekly plans based off set menus, calculates and develops orders based off set menus and understands and can implement proper prep and pull thaw procedures.
- Maintain nutritional requirements as identified by CCFP/FDA program.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- The employee is occasionally required to walk
- Completes all required training and professional development sessions.
Nice to have
- Work 40 plus hours a week.
