  • In partnership with Metrolinx, ACCIONA is playing a key role in the design and construction of the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE), a 9.2-kilometre westward addition to Toronto's Line 5 light rail transit network.
  • This major infrastructure project includes seven new stations and installation of rail and systems under a progressive design-build model.
  • This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team on a complex, high-value project that supports long-term regional growth and environmental sustainability.
  • The Construction Quality Control Manager also helps to minimize risks, enhance project outcomes, and deliver a high-quality project.
  • Develop, review, and execute the Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, and site teams to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  • Offer guidance and support to the subcontractors in resolving quality issues and enhancing their performance.

Requirements

  • Has prior experience with or knowledge of the CAIS Construction Administration and Inspection Specifications, CAIT Manual Requirements, Ontario Provincial Standards Specifications, COT, and MTO standards.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with relevant software tools and technology such as Microsoft Office Suite.
