About the role

  • The ideal candidate is a high-agency operator who can move seamlessly between strategic problem-solving and hands-on execution.
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve operational bottlenecks across core business functions, with a focus on scalable process improvements, automation, systems alignment, and permanent fixes rather than short-term workarounds.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of high-priority cross-functional initiatives, including scoping problems, defining success metrics, building execution plans, managing dependencies, driving decision-making, and ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Design and operationalize governance mechanisms that connect Monotype's strategic priorities to day-to-day execution, including KPA frameworks, operating dashboards, QBRs, executive governance forums, and initiative tracking.
  • Partner with technical AI teams and business leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact AI use cases that create meaningful operational leverage, reduce manual work, and improve speed, quality, or scalability.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders across the business, aligning stakeholders, resolving ambiguity, escalating risks, and ensuring accountability across functions and workstreams.
  • Lead initiatives that improve the effectiveness of key commercial, financial, legal, customer, data, and operational systems, ensuring that processes are clearly defined, measurable, and scalable.
  • Provide support on select high-priority strategic projects, including M&A-related work, partnerships, transformation programs, and strategy communication or dissemination as needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, transformation, commercial operations, or a related function.
  • Prior experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic operations, or an equivalent high-performance operating environment.
  • Demonstrated track record leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Strong analytical foundation, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, interpret data, identify root causes, and translate insights into action.
  • Experience improving business processes, operating models, governance systems, or enterprise workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex issues into clear executive-ready recommendations.
  • Experience working directly with senior executives and functional leaders to drive alignment, decisions, and accountability.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, including timelines, owners, dependencies, risks, and executive-level reporting.

Compensation

  • The US pay range for this position is $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 annual base salary for external candidates with the appropriate level of experience.
