About the role
- Alpine Investors is seeking a Sourcing Associate to join its direct deal originations team.
- Target start date for this role is as soon as possible.
- The direct sourcing team within Alpine Operations Group (known as "Elevation") provides a critical service to Alpine and its portfolio companies.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute outbound outreach strategies that result in engaging business owners/CEOs in a discussion to sell. Methods may include cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, in-person visits and more.
- Conduct introductory conversations with owners/CEOs of prospective businesses and build rapport
- Given the exposure in this role, associates will develop their own investing judgment and have opportunities to shape our investment criteria as they build expertise in markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree - interest in business, entrepreneurship, finance, or sales
- 2+ years of experience in direct deal sourcing or business development with a proven track record of success
